Originally launched in 2013 as part of the Air Jordan “Fear Pack,” alongside the Air Jordan 3 and Air Jordan 5, this release drew inspiration from the 2008 “Becoming Legendary” campaign starring Michael Jordan.
 
In a memorable commercial, Jordan expressed, “I’m scared of what I won’t become. You’re scared of what I could become.” This theme echoes throughout each pair in the Fear Pack.
 
Draped in Black, White, Cool Grey, and Pure Platinum hues, the shoe boasts a Black, Pure Platinum, and Cool Grey upper with White accents. The design showcases a Black-speckled midsole, a visible Red Nike Air unit, and a White rubber outsole. Notably, the insoles bear the poignant quote, “I’m scared of what I won’t become. You’re scared of what I could become.”
